I stumbled upon of monsters and men on the day of their concert at the black cat. in light of the fact that I listened to their EP on repeat for an hour, it goes without saying that I was severely disappointed to find that they were sold out. but imagine my excitement the next week (after they released their full-length album) upon learning that they were hold another, spontaneous, free concert in silver spring!
they're fanciful, folky, and upbeat. if you haven't already, check them out! (most people prefer Little Talks and From Finner, but I think my favorite is Love, Love, Love. or maybe Yellow Light. though I'm quite partial to King and Lionheart. actually, you should probably just listen to the entire album.)
